The Commercial Fixed-Escape™ by JOMY is a retractable egress
ladder that mounts as a fixed ladder to most structures. When
retracted it folds to 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" column and looks like
a drainpipe. It is an ideal emergency exit. When deployed
it provides safe and easy egress or access. Made from extruded
lightweight 6063-T6 aluminum alloy, no individual section
weighs more than 52 lbs. The ladder is easily installed by
two people in less than three hours, using standard tools.
Because the ladder remains closed until needed, the rungs
are protected and the operating mechanisms are not affected
by ice, snow, sleet, rain, salt air or other adverse conditions.
The ladder is maintenance free.
The Commercial Fixed-Escape™ has 24 inch wide rungs with
slip resistant ribbed surface- tested by Underwriter's Laboratory
with a 1,000 lb static load for one hour without damage. The
ladder has the additional safety feature of a hand- rail,
which adds safety during ascent or descent. The ladder can
easily adapted to structural over hangs, gutters or unusual
roof lines by using mounting brackets- the ladder can be placed
up to 30 inches away from the building. This is the perfect
ladder for architecturally discreet situations. The anodized
aluminum can be powder coated to match any exterior situation.
The ladder can be deployed from multiple stories using a latch
at each story. Locking hubs are available for additional security.

The Commercial Fixed-Escape Ladder ™ can be configured in
